Alexander is an MD/PhD student at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. He is immensely interested in technology and its potential to have high impact as well as create opportunity for people all over the world. He has been in charge of all prototyping of and technology in the shoe, taking the invention from an idea to where the it is today after many iterations. He was also responsible for writing the first provisional patent and is in charge of PowerSole’s IP strategy. Outside of PowerSole Alexander likes to travel, play soccer, and is on the board of a charity called Children of Hope Uganda.
Joseph Linzon – Co-Founder
Joseph graduated from the the McIntire school of business at Virginia in 2015. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, and also works on another venture, Roots Natural Kitchen. He is impassioned to explore the social side of entrepreneurship. With PowerSole, Joseph has been the winner of the Social Entrepreneurship Track, runner up in the UVA Entrepreneurship Cup, and winner of the Galant Center Challenge, an award that has helped to put the company’s wheels in motion. With ideas like PowerSole, he hopes use social entrepreneurship as a means to help better the lives of individuals in developing countries. During his free time Joseph loves to golf, play baseball, and volunteer for Madison House.
